Steph has lived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania since 2012 where she still lives with her husband, Aaron, and their 5 children. She co-founded and works at Sifa Collective. Steph is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology and is a certified social & behavioral researcher.
Steph helped launch the Wellness Community Counseling Centre in Dar es Salaam in 2021. Over a decade of living overseas has added to her ability to provide multi-cultural counseling as well as care for the global worker.
Steph aims to help clients observe the interconnection between biological/psychological/socio-environmental/and spiritual factors in their lives. She utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, holistic and integrative therapy, and biblical counseling. Steph counsels in both Kiswahili and English. She is passionate about helping clients grow, heal, and find peace and hope in their lives.
Steph has extensive experience in providing individual, couples, family and group counseling, teaching counseling workshops for organizations and churches, and training lay-counselors to provide soul care in their communities. Courtney and her family have been living and working in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania since 2014. She and her husband co-founded Harakati, a social enterprise located in Dar es Salaam. With her background in counseling and social work, combined with years of living abroad, Courtney is passionate about helping families and communities thrive, especially within cross-cultural and diverse settings.
Courtney’s most recent professional roles have been as a volunteer for an International school where she educates students on safety issues and abuse prevention, provides counseling, and teaches parenting and family workshops, as well as works as a responder for child safety and protection. She is a Certified Responder through the Child Safety and Protection Network and is currently working toward her certification in Trauma Response and Crisis Intervention. She provides counseling services online and at our counseling center in Dar es Salaam.

Shantelle lives in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with her husband Emmanual. She has lived and worked overseas for the last 11 years. Shantelle has a Masters in Counseling and uses her experience living abroad to help other overseas workers work through the stress, anxiety, excitement and adjustment that an international transition can cause.
Her approach is to meet clients where they are, to provide a safe, welcoming and calm atmosphere where they can work through the healing process.
She works from a biopsychosocial perspective where Christ is the foundation and the gospel transforms, using various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and narrative therapy. Clients can expect to work with Shantelle to identify and enlist their strengths in creating the outcome they desire, while also learning to see how their life story can be views differently in order to create positive change. She provides counseling services online and at our counseling center in Dar es Salaam.

Shella and her husband and their two boys moved from Dubai to Dar es Salaam in 2018. She is passionate about serving in the body of Christ and discipling other believers.
She counsels young adults and partners with her husband to provide Biblical pre-marital counseling. Over the past two years Shella has been running an online Bible club for kids and teenagers. She loves to sing and craft.
Having worked and lived in Ghana, United States, Brazil, United Arab Emirates and Tanzania over the past 13 years, Shella has gained unique cross-cultural experiences and skills which she’s excited to draw from to help others thrive while living abroad.
